German Army’s Special Forces takes delivery of 2 H145Ms

The German Army’s (Bundeswehr) Special Forces – Kommando Spezialkräfte (KSK) – took delivery of its first two H145M helicopters from Airbus Helicopters on Dec. 8.

The Bundeswehr H145M is equipped with a fast roping system for troops, cargo hooks, hoists, a pintle-mounted door gun, ballistic protection and an electronic countermeasures system, which offers new capabilities for KSK special operations.

A total of 15 helicopters were ordered.
