The Royal Malaysian Air Force’s S-61 helicopters will be upgraded with new main and tail rotor blades and gearboxes. They will then be transferred to the army air wing.
A Malaysian official added that a pintle-mounted machine gun will be added at the cargo door and the helicopter will get a digital datalink as well.
