Portugal’s Euro 2016 winners escorted home by F-16s

Portugal’s Euro 2016 team was welcomed home by two Portuguese Air Force F-16s as their Boeing 737 head towards Humberto Delgado Airport. Midfielder Joao Moutinho posted a video on his Instagram account on the encounter.

Kratos has beaten seven other competitors to win a $40.8 million single award, cost-share contract by the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) to demonstrate a high-speed, long-range, low-cost, limited life-strike Unmanned Aerial System (UAS).

Meteor missiles officially entered service with Swedish Air Force

The Swedish Air Force (SwAF) announced during a ceremony on Jul. 11 that the Meteor Beyond Visual Range Air to Air Missile (BVRAAM) has now entered Initial Operational Capability phase on its Gripen fighter.
