Rescue of Saudi F-15 crew was USAF’s first night water CSAR mission since Vietnam

The Jolly Green Association gave its Rescue Mission of the Year award to Alaska Air National Guard’s 210th and 211th Rescue Squadrons for saving two Saudi F-15 aircrew members in the Gulf of Aden last year.

Boeing has fixes for KC-46A in order to refuel C-17

Boeing has prepared a software and hardware fix for the KC-46A aerial tanker so that it can go on to pass fuel to the C-17 strategic transport.

Fighters from USS John C. Stennis approached RoCAF C-130 over South China Sea

A Republic of China Air Force C-130 carrying a group of 20 former senior government officials to Taiping Island in the Spratly archipelago was approached by two U.S. Navy fighters from USS John C. Stennis over the South China Sea on May 5.
