RJAF pilot reported to have been sacked for refusing to travel to Israel

A Royal Jordanian Air Force (RJAF) pilot, Majdi Asmadi, is reported by local media to have lost his job after he refused to go on an official trip to Israel.

India’s defense ministry gave green light for purchase of 5 S-400 air defense systems

India’s Defence Acquisition Council (DAC) met on Dec. 17 and the acquisition of 5 S-400 air defense systems was cleared during the meeting chaired by defense minister Manohar Parrikar.

Qatar’s order for 24 Rafales came into force

Dassault announced that Qatar’s order for 24 Rafale fighters has come into force. News reports last month mentioned that the contract was delayed as Qatar had failed to make the first payment in order for Dassault to enter it into its order books.
