The Red Sales was a Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) aerobatic team that was disbanded before its public debut. The team lost all its aircraft and six pilots during its fifth training flight on Aug. 16, 1962, sixty years ago.

The seventh F-15 to roll off the production line has found a new home
The Combat Air Museum is now home to the seventh McDonnell Douglas F-15 to roll off the production line. #71-0286 was used for armament and external fuel stores testing at Edwards Air Force Base before being retired from flying.

F-16A static display gets an all-gold paint scheme
The Iowa Air National Guard has repainted an F-16A static display in a gold paint scheme. This scheme replicates the F-16C that was painted in gold back in 1996 to commemorate the 185th Fighter Wing’s 50th anniversary back then.
