VMAT-203 sundown ceremony today

VMAT-203 will hold a sundown ceremony at MCAS Cherry Point today. It is the only active unit to train pilots to fly the AV-8B for the U.S. Marine Corps.

MCAS Miramar will soon have a F-35B training squadron

MCAS Miramar will soon have a squadron of F-35Bs to train pilots on how to fly the STOVL fighter.

A F-35B Lightning II with Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 121 taxis down the runway at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, August 7. Two F-35s from the squadron landed to refuel before heading back to MCAS Yuma to complete their flight.
