U.S. to allow Taiwan military observers to watch anti-submarine drills

The United States has agreed to let Taiwanese military observers watch how its navy conduct anti-submarine drills. The agreement will take effect next year.

Swift: Dual-carrier operation near Korean Peninsular an option

The commander of the U.S. Pacific Fleet, Adm. Scott Swift, told reporters in Yongsan, South Korea on Sept. 5 that dual-carrier operation near the Korean Peninsular is an option he could consider.
