AARGM-ER engages moving maritime target on 4th flight test

On Nov. 30, Northrop Grumman successfully completed the fourth flight test of its AGM-88G Advanced Anti-Radiation Guided Missile Extended Range (AARGM-ER) at the Point Mugu Sea Range off the coast of southern California. The U.S. Navy launched the missile from an F/A-18 Super Hornet aircraft, successfully hitting a moving maritime target that was representative of operational conditions.

Indian Navy could stick to another IAC-1 buy instead of proceeding with IAC-2

Indian Navy chief Adm. R Hari Kumar said on Dec. 3 that his service is happy with IAC-1 aircraft carrier INS Vikrant and could buy another carrier based on it instead of the newer IAC-2 CATOBAR aircraft carrier.
