After a rigorous seven-step evaluation process, Canada has decided to buy 88 F-35As under its Future Fighter Capability Project, which was launched in 2017, the Minister of National Defence has announced.
The New Year’s Jump, an annual event, hosted by the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force, saw roughly 400 paratroopers from the U.S. Army, the British army, the Australian army, and Japan Ground Self-Defense Force participating at Camp Narashino on Jan. 8. Five aircraft were involved in the jump, including three C-130Js, one C-130H, and one Japanese C-2.
