Russia has delivered two Su-24M2s to Syria

News reports say Russia has delivered two Su-24M2 fighter bombers to Syria and eight more are expected soon.

OC-135B Open Skies made emergency landing in Russia

A U.S. OC-135B Open Skies observation aircraft with Russian observers on board was forced to make an emergency landing at Khabarovsk airport in Russia on Jul. 27.

Russia to pay $1.1 million for system to catch any U.S. violation of New START

A tender by the Russian Defense Minister will pay $1.1 million to anyone who can develop a hardware and software solution dubbed Paritet to monitor if the United States is violating the 2010 New START treaty.

A-10s arrived in Estonia

Ämari Air Base in Estonia welcomed eight A-10s assigned to the 442nd Fighter Wing on Jul. 25. The fighters are there for two-weeks for a flying training deployment.

Canada paid $33 million in June to remain as F-35 partner nation

The Canadian government transferred $33 million to the F-35 program office on Jun. 24 so that Canada can remain as one of the partner nations for the stealth fighter program.
