An anonymous South Korean military official told Yonhap that the indigenous M-SAM air defense system has been deployed along the maritime border with North Korea in the Yellow Sea.

A study to find the aircraft to replace the A-10 has been initiated by the U.S. Air Force and the study will look at whether a new clean-sheet design is required or existing aircraft such as the AT-6 or A-29 can fulfill the role.
