U.S. to test-fire Patriot air defense missile in Palau for the first time

The United States intends to test-fire the Patriot air defense missile system in Palau on Jun. 15, the island’s ambassador to Washington D.C. has disclosed.

Keen Sword is a biennial joint and bilateral exercise involving the U.S. Military and Japan Self-Defense Forces, designed to enhance U.S.-Japan combat readiness and interoperability.

Chinese J-16 cut across nose of RAAF P-8 and release chaff

The Australian Department of Defence has released a press statement on Jun. 5 saying that a Chinese J-16 fighter carried out a dangerous maneuver to a Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) P-8 maritime patrol aircraft in South China Sea on May 26.
