A combined Hellfire missile shot was carried out by Apaches from the Japan Ground Self Defense Force, and 1-229th Attack Battalion, 16th Combat Aviation Brigade at Yakima Training Center on Dec. 6.

Last Friday’s crash of an F-5 fighter in Chai Badan district of Lop Buri province was caused by a collision with a large bird, according to Royal Thai Air Force spokesman Air Vice Marshal Prapas Sornchaidee.
Cracks have been found on the tails of Canada’s CH-148 fleet, the problem affects 19 out of the 23 helicopters.
