Japan is conducting a joint exercise with U.S. forces in the Kagoshima prefecture. A handout provided by the Japanese Joint Staff office shows one of the exercise itenary being an anti-ship missile deployment with the U.S. Marine Corps.
HMLA-269 has been invited to participate in exercise Cold Response in Norway and the unit is now training in Colorado in order to prepare the Marines to operate in cold and high-altitude climate.
