The U.S. Army’s Deputy Product Director William Nichols revealed that Army and Air Force special operations forces have deployed the Aerovironment Switchblade UAV in Afghanistan last year.
The tube-launched drone has been used to take out Taliban targets and there are plans to renew the attacks next year.
