India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the 340.8 km-long Purvanchal Expressway on Nov. 16 and news reports say he will arrive in a C-130J transport.
A 3.3km section of the road has been designed for aircraft to operate as a road runway. Fighters from the Indian Air Force will be making demonstration take-offs and landings during the opening ceremony.
