U.S. Air Force Secretary Michael Donley and Army Secretary John McHugh have both written to House Armed Services Committee a letter requesting the MC-12 be kept with the Air Force.
Both argued that transferring the aircraft to the Army would require extensive modifications to accommodate different missions sets used by the Army.
