Light aircraft lands on highway in China for gas

A petrol station in the town of Beichuan in China’s Sichuan province had an unusual customer on Apr. 8 when a CH750 light aircraft landed on a highway and proceed to the station for gas.

The aircraft belongs to a Chinese company which has a joint venture with George Heintz Aircraft. The company’s chairman, Chen Wei, was a passenger on board the flight together with the pilot named Andy who is reported to be from San Francisco. Chen said the aircraft experienced a fuel shortage during the test flight and had to land for fuel.
