Taiwan’s Control Yuan, an investigatory agency similar to the U.S. GAO, has criticized the Air Force for plans to relocate the newly acquired P-3Cs from
Taoyuan County to Pingtung County.
The body said Taoyuan is a better location to counter China’s East Sea Fleet and to better protect Taiwan’s exclusive economic zone.
