The U.S. Navy will stand up the Unmanned Carrier-Launched Surveillance and Strike (UCLASS) Fleet Introduction Team (FIT) at NAS Point Mugu on Oct. 1.
According to the Navy directive issued last month, the team’s responsibilities include: “To plan, integrate, and execute the lines of effort required to establish the initial
operational capability of the UCLASS system and to transition the program to full operational capability.”
