LA Times taking Pentagon to court over GMD bonuses

The Los Angeles Times has taken the Pentagon to court in order to force the latter to reveal information on bonuses and incentives it paid contractors for delivering the Ground-based Midcourse Defense System (GMD).

According to Courthouse News Services, LA Times had “asked for financial records from Dec. 31, 2001 to March 1, 2014 under the Freedom of Information Act. But the government asserted that the documents contained sensitive trade secrets or financial information and denied the request.”
