Did Uganda secretly bought Mi-24s and transferred them to South Sudan?

An investigation by The Independent revealed that Uganda’s military might have secretly bypassed lawmakers and bought four Mi-24 gunships. These rotor-craft were then transferred to South Sudan.

The money trail leads to a Ugandan-based commercial bank which transferred about € 40 million to a Russian company for the four helicopters between March and April, this year.
