Four A-10 pilots grounded after making a low-altitude pass over Bank of America Stadium

The U.S. Air Force has taken four A-10 pilots off flight duties after they made a low-altitude pass over Bank of America Stadium and uptown Charlotte on Aug. 29.

The flyover was approved by air traffic controllers, however, regulations require that they stay 1,000ft above the highest obstacle. Complains were received that they were flying lower.
