In an interview at Bloomberg’s headquarters in New York recently, head of Air Mobility Command Gen. Carlton Everhart, said he found U.S. President Donald Trump to be an aviation enthusiast.

Everhart was summoned by the president-elect at the time to his Mar-a-Lago retreat in Florida over the costs of buying two new Air Force Ones.
He had to explain to Trump that the projected $4 billion cost was not just for two Boeing 747-8s and the bill includes support for the aircraft over a period of 30 years.
