According to Up Media, Taiwan will test-fire the sea-based variant of the Tien Kung-3 (TK-3) interceptor from a Mk 41 Vertical Launching System (VLS) later this year.

So far, testing has been carried out using an indigenous vertical launching system. The missile has been modified with folding fins to fit the into the Mk 41.
