Irish Air Corps PC-9 with engine failure glide 30km to make safe landing

A Irish Air Corps PC-9 suffered an in-flight engine failure on Feb. 26 during a training mission in the afternoon.

The instructor was able to glide the aircraft for 30km to make a safe landing at Casement Aerodrome, Baldonnel.
