Gloucestershire Live is reporting that B-1B bombers might be deployed to RAF Fairford soon. A C-5 arrived at the base on Sept. 26 and it was carrying spare engines for the supersonic bomber.
A C-17, #07-7171, arrived the next day. Presumably to support the deployment.
