USN wants to send 25 EA-18Gs to the boneyard

The U.S. Navy has disclosed its plan to deactivate five expeditionary electronic attack squadrons and send 25 EA-18Gs to the Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group at Davis-Montham Air Force Base from 2024.

These five squadrons, VAQ-131, 132, 134, 135, and 138, do not deploy on board aircraft carriers and are sent out to oversea bases to provide electronic attack capabilities to the joint force.

  1. USAF can grab them or better still Congress will plus up the DOD budget as President Biden is determined to carve out social spending while reducing defense spending to appease Kamala Harris
