Diamond Aircraft announced that its DART-450 (Diamond Aircraft Reconnaissance Trainer) has flown on May 17.

Powered by a Ivchenko-Progress / Motor Sich AI-450S turboprop engine, the 2-seat civilian and military trainer comes with sidestick controls and pneumatic ejection seats.

The aircraft is expected to have a top speed of 250kts.
