Su-35 flew non-stop from Baltic to Portugal?

A Spanish news report said that a Russian Su-35 fighter flew non-stop from its base in the Baltic to the airspace off Portugal on Nov. 24.

Russian Su-33s, MiG-29KR are now at Humaymim Air Base, Syria

Jane’s obtained the latest commercial satellite imagery of Humaymim Air Base, Syria and it shows eight Su-33s and one MiG-29KR on the tarmac there.

Nigerian Air Force AW101 crashes

A Nigerian Air Force AW101 was badly damaged in an accident recently. Two AW101s were transferred from the Presidential fleet to the Air Force. The mishap aircraft is said to be the only serviceable helicopter at the time of the incident as the other AW101 was undergoing maintenance.

Israel to launch RFI for CH-53 replacement next year

The Israeli Air Force intends to launch a program to find a replacement for its Sikorsky CH-53 Yasur and both Lockheed Martin and Boeing are expected to vie for the contract.
