Canada keeping Mk 41 VLS for possible use on Single Class Surface Combatant Project

Canada has retain the Mark 41 Vertical Launching System (Mk 41 VLS) from its retired Iroquois-class destroyers and will examine if the system should be installed on the Single Class Surface Combatant Project.

Inside the ZDK-03 AEW&C

The console stations of the ZDK-03 airborne early warning aircraft was revealed during Exercise Sea Spark, held in Karachi on Nov. 9. The photo was taken whilst Air Force Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman and Chief of Naval Staff, Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah were on board the plane to observe the exercise.

VFC-12 faces uncertain future

VFC-12 is an adversary training unit operating out of NAS Oceana. It is the only Naval Reserve squadron in the base and operates some of the oldest F/A-18s in the sailing branch. Military Times was able to observe the daily activities inside the unit.
