Despite selecting L-15, UAE says it is still interested in the T-50

Tri-carrier operations in the Ionian Sea

220317-N-DH793-1433 IONIAN SEA (Mar. 17, 2022) An MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter, attached to the “Dragonslayers” of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 11, a Eurocopter AS365 Dauphin helicopter, attached to the French aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle (R 91) and two NHIndustries NH90 helicopters, attached to the Italian aircraft carrier ITS Cavour (C 550), fly over the Ionian Sea as the Charles de Gaulle(R 91), the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Illinois Army National Guard receives the UH-60V

The UH-60V variant has been inducted into service with the 106th Aviation Regiment at the Illinois Army National Guard.

The LC-130 will no longer require RATO after engine upgrades

The Lockheed LC-130 is a ski-equipped aircraft that supports U.S. missions in the Arctic and Antarctic. The aircraft requires rocket-assisted-takeoff (RATO) rockets for take-off when carrying heavy loads over snow or ice. Recently, the LC-130 was upgraded with T56-8-15A 3.5 engines that negate the need for RATO rockets.
