Wolf Pack completes project to paint four heritage tail flashes

The 8th Fighter Wing has completed its project to paint four F-16s with heritage tail flashes. The final aircraft represents the 8th Operations Group.

Airmen assigned to the 8th Maintenance Squadron aircraft structural maintenance shop work together to apply stencils for the tail flash of the 8th Operations Group’s F-16 Fighting Falcon at Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea, Jan. 22, 2022. Tail flashes are exemplary of the unit pride and heritage across the Air Force, and help the maintainers, who repair these aircraft, as well as the pilots who fly them, connect with the Airmen and missions of the past.
